The next entry into Nishio Ishin’s work will begin serialization in Weekly Shounen Magazine’s 15th issue of 2018. Specific details on the plot and participating staff are currently scarce, with even the lead illustrator for the manga yet to be revealed.
Fans got their first taste of Monogatari in Aug. 2005, when author Nishio and illustrator Vofan published the first volume of the light novel. There have been 23 volumes released so far, with several anime series, audio dramas, games, and film series.
