New visuals have been released of Oizumi You as CCG member Mado Kureo in the upcoming live-action movie Tokyo Ghoul!
This series follows the battle between humans and Ghouls who, although resembling humans, eat them. Mado Kureo is an officer at the CCG and member of the Ghoul Countermeasures Division aiming to eradicate Ghouls.
CCG members use a “quinque” to fight against Ghouls, a specially developed weapon made using kagune extracted from Ghouls, which is the predatory organ they use to hunt. Veteran Ghoul Investigator Mado has a strong attachment to his quinque and uses it to take down a number of Ghouls with a heartless attitude.
The quinque haven’t appeared much in previews, but we finally got a nice glimpse of it in a new photo.
