Chidori Heads to Kyoto in Season 2 of Nobunaga no Shinobi!

The 2nd season of Nobunaga no Shinobi, Nobunaga no Shinobi ~Ise・Kanegasaki Arc~, will be airing on Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, and other stations beginning on Apr. 7!

The anime first aired back in October and is centered around Chidori, an adorable little ninja that helps Nobunaga as he fights against opposing forces in Japan’s Warring States period! It’s a gag anime that pairs actual history with hilarious perspectives and dialogue, and the 2nd season is sure to be just as great. There will probably be a lot of action, as well, as Nobunaga sets his eyes on the capital!

This adaptation is based on a 4-panel gag comic by Shigeno Naoki serialized in Hakusensha’s Young Animal, and it’s directed by Daichi Akitaro.
