Katekyo Hitman Reborn! returns in Blu-ray Box 10 years after its broadcast! The first box featuring the early episodes of the show will release on Apr. 19. The digipak contains the episode discs as well as a bonus disc and extra drama CDs, and it comes with an exclusive illustration depicting an everyday scene of the residents of Namimori by character designer Tanaka Masayoshi.
The sleeve case housing the digipak and the extra booklet is illustrated by original creator Amano Akira. The illustration features protagonist Sawada Tsunayoshi, his guardian Gokudera Hayato, and Yamamoto Takeshi drawn with soft colors.
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the series’ conclusion, the second box (releasing on May 17) and the third box (June 21) will also come with specially drawn illustrations. Stay tuned to find out which character will be featured next!
It was also announced that those who pre-order on the Canime webshop get presented with an exclusive postcard book. The booklet for the first box comes with a total of 20 illustrations without trimming including DVD jacket illustrations specially drawn by Tanaka Masayoshi.
