On March 15, the musical Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon - Amour Eternal will finally be released on DVD so dedicated fans can watch and rewatch it in the comfort of their own home!
Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Osaka were the lucky cities that initially hosted the performance in fall 2016. (Though other performances are still being scheduled, with the show coming to the Hokkaido-based Eniwa Civic Hall on March 11 and 12.)
There’s nothing like going to see a performance in real life, especially if it has to do with Sailor Moon - but luckily for those who choose to take this DVD home, they’ll also be treated to bonus features that attendees didn’t get to see!
A special dialogue between Usagi (played by Nomoto Hotaru) and Mamoru (played by Yamato Yuga) has been included, along with a compilation of audio commentary from the five Sailor Guardians. Also included is a 28-page booklet printed in full color.
And if you’re still craving more Sailor Moon goodness (and who wouldn’t?), an event will take place at Animate’s Ikebukuro location from March 14 to 26 that involves a panel dedicated to the musical’s notable and most enjoyable scenes! Plus, if you visit any of the Animate locations in Japan or their online shop, you’ll find information on how you might be able to get your hands on a cast-autographed poster!
