Sailor Moon: The Musical Coming to the US in April!

A new Sailor Moon musical is coming this year! The new production will be the fifth of the rebooted musical series which began in 2013, and news on the production’s performance dates have been announced along with news of a special performance to be held at the U.S. event Anime Matsuri 2017.

The new musical production of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Musical will start its theater run this fall at AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo with further details to be announced in the future. The current musical production will also be performed at Anime Matsuri 2017 (held from April 7 to 9), an American anime convention held yearly in Houston, Texas since 2007. April 7 will be recognized in Houston this year as Sailor Moon Day and will be celebrated with a performance of the musical starring the five Inner Guardians, four Outer Guardians, and Tuxedo Mask. It’s not every day that the Sailor Guardians drop in for a visit, so be sure to check out this memorable event!
