Old school Sailor Moon fans should brace themselves for a blast from the past with this newest product! Bandai’s official shopping site Premium Bandai has opened orders for the Pegasus Message Tablet, an updated and reimagined version of the same Stallion Rêve toy released in the ‘90s!
■ Product Description
This gorgeous product is based off of the item Sailor Chibi Moon used to contact the trapped Helios from the fourth season of the series Sailor Moon Super S.
This partial Stallion Rêve comes in a calming array of silver, white, and baby blue colors with dashes of vibrant red in the center and top gems. The exterior, which seems to glitter and sparkle, is affixed with a golden chain. Underneath the silver wings and crown sits a transparent dome, and lifting the dome reveals an enshrined figure of Pegasus, who is surrounded by an engraved seal.
The true difference between this release and the one from the ‘90s comes in when you lift Pegasus to reveal a hidden compartment, which can be used to store medicine, candy, and anything else small you can fit in there! Initially, this toy comes with candy. However, once you’re done snacking on them, it’s up to you to decide whether you want it to function as an adorable accessory or an adorable candy case!
