Kuroko’s Basketball Announces Kyoto Exclusive “Miracle Blood Donation Collab”

Kuroko’s Basketball The Movie: Last Game and Kyoto Red Cross Blood Center collaborating on a campaign titled, “Miracle Blood Donation Collabo” starting Mar. 13, a few days before the film’s release on Mar. 18!

During the campaign, people who donate 400 ml of blood, plasma, or platelets, will receive an exclusive Kuroko’s Basketball The Movie: Last Game original cardboard clip as a present.

The campaign also has a special poster featuring Akashi Seijuro, the captain of Rakuzan High. Choosing Akashi as the face of the collaboration holds a deep meaning as not only does he play for a Kyoto team, his name also includes the characters “red” and “cross”.

The recent years have seen an increase in anime-related collaborations, and the “Miracle Blood Donation Collab” is no different. The goal of the campaign is to reduce the growing gap between teenage and older than 30 donors: They are hoping to ease the psychological obstacles of donating blood by collaborating with a title popular among young people.
