There are plenty of titles featuring a little sister in the heroine role, some popular examples being Oreimo and The Irregular at Magic High School. Heroines of this kind are referred to as “imouto chara” or “little sister characters” and are loved by many fans, which is why the Japanese anime and manga news portal AnimeAnime thought it would be interesting to ask their readers who they would like to have as their little sister!

Following closely behind with only four votes less is Hirasawa Ui from K-On!, the capable, mature and caring sister of Hirasawa Yui. She is very smart and sometimes even tutors her older sister despite being one year below!
Third place belongs to Rem from Re:Zero. Rem idolizes her older twin sister, Ram, but after meeting Subaru, she starts to show a more feminine side as well.
