A Share House Where You Can Play Survival Games Opens its Doors Near Tama-Plaza Station

Looking for a fun place to stay in Japan? Share Design, a company operating 17 share houses with 600 rooms around the metropolitan area, has opened a new house called Share Residence Tama-Plaza in Aoba-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. It’s easy to access as it’s about a 7-minute walk from the Tama-Plaza Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line and an 8-minute walk from the Azamino Station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway. What makes this particular house special is that residents can not only play survival games, they can also attend other fun activities such as dance and drum lessons or even flight simulations.

Survival games have become quite popular lately. Playing outside with airsoft guns has the power to make adults feel like they are back in their childhood, but on the other hand, there’s the issue of getting to the field, which is probably located somewhere out in the suburbs, and it might hurt if you get hit. Ouch! In Share Residence Tama-Plaza, however, tenants can enjoy survival games with ray guns right in their building. Gun rental is free, and it won’t hurt since there are no actual bullets. It also opens the door to some fun ideas, such as deciding who makes dinner with a match.

And that’s not all! Although it can be easily used as a survival game field, the courtyard also has other facilities including a basketball field, a skateboard ramp, and a mini pool, making the whole thing feel as if you were taking a vacation right at home.
