From May 20 (Fri.) to Aug. 31 (Wed.), Keihan Electric Railway (Headquarters: Osaka, Chuou-ku; Company President: Yoshifumi Katou) will have a collaboration project with Colopl’s smartphone game Shironeko Project on display.
Shironeko Project is an RPG for smartphones released in 2014. A special event for the game set in Kyoto called “Shiritsu Chaguma Gakuen 2016 ~Oideyasu, Kyoto, Shironeko no Tabi~” will run from May 20 (Fri.) to Aug. 31 (Wed.). It will include a variety of events like a stamp rally for visiting different places, and because a number of these locations will be set up along the Keihan Electric Railway Line, a collaboration project was set up! The first train of the 3000 Series has been dubbed the “Shironeko Train,” and the inside is decked out with stickers of characters from Shironeko Project and other decorations. Hoshi Tanuki, a popular character from the game, also appears on the nameplate of the train as a part of the collaboration.
If you’re in Japan, you can also ride the whole Keihan Line, as well as the Keihan Otokoyama Cable Line, using the special passenger ticket “Keihan Electric Railway x Colopl Keihan Line Day Ticket.” Passengers who buy this during the event will also receive a special sticker version of the train’s nameplate!
