Yoyogi Animation School and Animate Ltd. are two establishments that are well-received and well-known in Japan - and that can only spell great things for the opening of their newest collaboration, Yoanimate! This exciting new store officially opens on May 28, 2016 at 10:00 am in its Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka locations.
Fans of both Yoyogi Animation School and Animate will finally have the chance to support both at the exact same time thanks to this special project! This announcement was made on March 17 at Animate’s Ikebukuro headquarters on the ninth floor, where a special project press conference took place.
For those wondering exactly how this will work, each Yoanimate will be as an official store inside multiple Yoyogi Animation School buildings, both for practicality and convenience! When you take the best traits from both establishments, like spectacular customer service, fan-driven events, special high-quality goods, and an unparalleled amount of creativity and drive, the prospects for this new collaborative shop look brighter and brighter! Especially when you factor in the exciting idea that there are countless Yoyogi students with talent and passion that have their eyes on being a creator/artist - who knows what kind of creative and original product lines we can expect to see in each shop!
