Adorable “Bananya” to Star in His Own TV Anime Beginning July 2016~!

Just what kind of life can a banana-cat lead? You’re about to have your chance to find out! TMS Entertainment Co., Ltd and Q-Lia have come together to develop a TV anime series for the curiously cute Bananya - a kitty cat tucked away inside a banana! The two have announced their decision to begin broadcasting the show starting in July 2016, which will be narrated by Ebisu Yoshikazu (actor and mangaka)!

Additionally, Yuki Kaji will be starring as the voice of Bananya himself! Yuki is a popular and seasoned voice actor, as well as former G.Addict member.

Ebisu, who’s charmed a large array of audiences due to his unfettered and captivating style of acting, is well-acquainted with Bananya and his world - a large reason why he was considered for the job. After researching and studying everything there is to know, he’s now making his debut with his expert knowledge.

Bananya is just about the cutest (if not weirdest) kitty cat you’ve ever seen...and on top of that, he lives inside a banana! How, you ask? Well technically, no one has ever seen the part of him that’s hidden by the rest of the banana peel, so who knows? We do know that when there’s no one around, he’ll secretly have fun and even play mischevious pranks! He loves fun in general, sweet and yummy pastries, and his dream is to one day become the ultimate fashionable chocolate banana.
