Hongo Kanata and Kanda Sayaka to Reprise Roles in Danganronpa Stage Play

Danganronpa The Stage 2016: The Academy of Hope and the High School Student of Despair kicks off June 16 in Tokyo. This stage play is a rerun of the previous Danganronpa The Stage: The Academy of Hope and the High School Student of Despair play based on the Danganronpa game by Spike Chunsoft.

The announcement and visuals for the actors to play Naegi Makoto and Enoshima Junko were revealed last, keeping fans in suspense. Hongou Kanata will return as the Ultimate Lucky Student Naegi Makoto and he will also star in Danganronpa 3 -The End of Hope's Peak Academy- new anime in July as Mitarai Ryota. Kanda Sayaka will reprise her role of the Ultimate Fashionista Enoshima Junko.

Twenty-one character visuals have been released and they faithfully depict the original character designs. Check out the feature video below of the character visuals and short clips from the last run of the show!
