Super-Hot Race Queens Gather at the Evangelion Store!

On March 20 at EVANGELION STORE TOKYO-01 in Harajuku, Tokyo, an event was held for Evangelion fans and racing fans alike. The event was a celebration of Evangelion Racing’s continued participation in racing events.

In front of the Eva Store, which is located very close to Takeshita Street in Harajuku, throngs of Eva fans gathered before the store opened. Once the store did open, five beautiful race queens from Evangelion Racing were introduced. The chosen race queens were cosplaying as Ayanami Rei, Soryu Asuka Langley, Makinami Mari Illustrious, Ikari Shinji, and Nagisa Kaworu, respectively.

Inside the store, the race bike to be used in the Suzuka 8 Hour Endurance Road Race called the Eva RT Unit-01 Trickster was on display and drew in the attention of all the attendees. A full lineup of goods and new items were also available to purchase. This included items that can usually only be bought at the race venue. Because of this, there was a line of people at the register.

A campaign called “Pen Pen Completion Plan” was also taking place. Fans were able to make an origami Pen Pen (a penguin character from Evangelion) and write a message on it which will be given to the racing team on the day of the next circuit. No doubt fans who want to support the team were happy about this project.

This event may be over, but there is much more to look forward to from Evangelion Racing.
