After 18 years of publication, the July 2013 edition of Young Ace marks the end of the manga series Neon Genesis Evangelion. To commemorate the conclusion of the series, a special exhibition featuring reproductions of manga artist Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's work is currently being held in Shinjuku at Evangelion Store Tokyo until Aug. 31. This is an exciting opportunity for fans to trace the path of "Sadamoto's Evangelion" and experience a story that's different from the movie and television adaptations.

In addition, an event called “Yoshiyuki Sadamoto Fair” is also underway inside the store. This event not only features volumes of the original manga and related works, but also specially made merchandise based off of Sadamoto's original illustrations.

Customers will also receive a special bookmark with each purchase of 3,000 yen or more. Customers will be able to choose one of three bookmarks: Asuka, Rei, or Mari. This special present is only available until July 31 or while supplies last.

The store has also been holding a fair featuring original Revoltech figures from the series. Starting July 13, figures from the traveling “Evangelion Figure World” show will be added to the lineup. The box diorama recreations of various scenes are a must see!

Furthermore, last year’s hit summer festival will also be taking place this year. If you purchase a 500 yen ticket, you can experience the well-known summer festival food and activity booths. Fans can experience a different take on these nostalgic games with "Yurushito Yo-yo fishing" and "A.T. Field ring toss."

The festival will be held Friday through Sunday and on holidays from July 31 to Aug. 25. It will also be open on consecutive days during the Bon festival from Aug. 12-16.

Also, the specialty Evangelion souvenir shop Eva-Ya located near Hakone-Yumoto Station will be celebrating its first anniversary with a special campaign. It is set to be an exciting event with a lottery for limited edition Yurushito plush dolls and a special first anniversary souvenir set for sale.
