A collaborative Evangelion/Real Escape Game event will open this summer in Shiodome.
A collaborative Evangelion/Real Escape Game event is to be held this year, being the 20th anniversary of the Evangelion TV series. The event is titled “Real Escape Game x Evangelion: Escape from Tokyo-3 - Your Mission Will Save Humanity.” It will take place at the Nittele Tower in Shiodome, Tokyo, from July 24 to Aug. 30.
This will be one of the main events at the “Cho Shiodome Paradise 2015 Summer” event put on by Nippon Television. Visitors to the venue will be challenged to solve this puzzle.
Attendees must work together to solve the puzzle in this hands-on event. As an agent of NERV, participants enter the world of Evangelion and must identify the weak points of the Angels attacking Tokyo-3 and safety evacuate the citizens.
The Eva action limit is 60 minutes. If one wrong move is made, then humanity has no future. Will you be able to relay the appropriate instructions to pilots Shinji Ikari and Rei Ayanami, vanquish the Angels, and save Tokyo-3?
This will be the second time the event is held since the first of its kind in 2011, “Escape from an Angel.” Furthermore, in 2012 the Real Escape Game producers SCRAP held the puzzle-solving game “Evangelion: Mystery of the Disappeared Pilot,” and received critical acclaim.
Eva goods and ornaments will also be on sale at the event hosted by Nippon Television in the Nittele Tower. It seems that this will indeed be a popular event. Advance tickets will cost 3,000 yen for general admission, 2,500 yen for students, and non-reserved tickets will be sold for 3,500 yen each.
