Eye-Catching Visuals and Story Previewed in New “Ajin -Shototsu-” Trailer; Movie Slated for May 2016 Release

Ajin -Shodo- (Ajin - Demi Human: Compel) the first movie in the theatrical trilogy of Gamon Sakurai’s original manga, was released on Nov. 27, and the popular series will be entering its second part in May 2016. Ajin -Shototsu- (Ajin - Demi Human: Collision) will be released at Toho Cinemas Shinjuku and other theaters. And with a TV series beginning in January that will also be available to stream through Netflix, it seems there is more and more excitement to come.

Preceding this, a trailer for Ajin -Shototsu- was released on Dec. 17. Though only 30 seconds long, it’s clear that it will have the same level of extreme, new generation anime visuals as seen in pat 1. It’s a must see, of course, for its never-before-seen visuals of part 2, and for the new characters included as well.

Part 1 told the story of the origins of the immortal “Ajin” (demi-humans) and high school student Kei Nagai who becomes the third Ajin in Japan after being killed in a traffic accident. Part 2 follows Kei after this as he is hunted by the police and the Ajin Control Board. Get ready for an even bigger drama regarding the Ajins.
