Vocaloid IA, known as a "virtual artist", was originally developed as a voice library for the voice synthesis program VOCALOID™3 released in 2012. Now, in 2015, she's coming to NYC with a Special 3D Live Showcase at Gramercy Theater, on October 11th (Sun). Tickets are on sale here.
Following her sold-out live concert at Club Nokia on July 4th as part of Cool Japan Festival presented by Anime Expo 2015, IA is finally bringing her 3D live performance to fans on the east coast too! This Special 3D Live Showcase will be full of IA's hit songs, Kagerou Project classics, and tons of visual surprises. Exclusive merchandise will be sold at the venue, as well as at New York Comic Con (booth #439, 1st Place Official Shop – HACHIMAKI – ) for con attendees. The VIP ticket will include special goods and priority entry. In addition, those attending NY Comic Con will be able to enjoy the IA Concert in NYCC, on Oct. 9th!
There will be a special pre-show event on October 10th (Saturday) at Kinokuniya Bookstore NYC, starting from 6pm, which includes a concert preview video screening, as well as special merchandise for sale. At the pre-show event you can also meet and take pictures with an official IA cosplayer, and have the opportunity to win a ticket to the concert!

Who is IA?
IA is a virtual artist brought to life as part of the VOCALOID™3 engine. 「IA -ARIA ON THE PLANETES-」 and「IA ROCKS」are both ranked #1 on Amazon Japan Music Software charts. IA-related videos have collectively garnered more than 100 million views. IA started her artist career by embarking on a live tour in 2012, followed by a dance music collaboration with the game “GROOVE COASTER”, as well as collaborations with several fashion brands. IA is also the featured singer of Kagerou Project by the multi-talented JIN and also included in Evangelion final chapter comics CD. Since 2013, IA has been connecting with her international fans through live shows in France and Taiwan, as well as a string of successful concert movie screenings in New York, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. IA's North American live performance in July, 2015, was met with more than 2,000 cheering fans. On July 30th, 「IA/VT ‒COLORFUL-」for PlayStation® was released and ranked #2 on game charts. IA will be performing her first solo concert in Japan on September 19th.
