Crowds of Characters in Costume - “Kuroko no Halloween in J-World Tokyo” Begins Sept. 28

A Kuroko’s Basketball themed seasonal event is to be held in Ikebukuro Sunshine City’s J-World Tokyo. “Kuroko no Halloween in J-World Tokyo” will open on Sept. 28, 2015 and is themed around the Oct. 31 holiday. The 2014 event “Kurobasu Matsuri” became a big hit thanks to the images of the costumed characters, and so the event this time will be themed after “Kuroko’s halloween.” Seeing as last year’s event was so highly regarded, “Kuroko no Halloween” will run for a longer time from Sept. 28 until Nov. 3, so with just over a month there’s plenty of time to enjoy it!

In conjunction with “Kuroko no Halloween,” J-World Tokyo has also unveiled a brand new limited edition illustration which features on merchandise and prizes from the event. The cute illustration features 11 characters including the protagonist Tetsuya Kuroko dressed in various costumes including werewolves and vampires. Merchandise such as keychains and tin badges are expected to be sold at the event and bonus gifts featuring all new illustrations will be available at the already running Kuroko’s Basketball attractions “Manager no Oshigoto” and “Kiseki no Bingo.”

There will also be a special “Mukkun no Okashi Erabi” mini game. “Mokkun” is one of the “Generation of Miracles” - Atsushi Murasakibara, and this mini game is perfectly in keeping with a Halloween event as it features some of his beloved candies. You pick one piece of candy from inside a pumpkin and win the prize which is written on it. One go is 540 yen. Other than that there will also be limited edition food! “Trick or Treat? Kuroko no Halloween Super Big Parfait,” “Kuroko & Kagami no Halloween Kansou Cake, ” and more will be available.
