The TV anime School-Live! will begin broadcasting this summer. School-Live! is an original manga by Norimitsu Kaiho of Nitroplus with illustrations by Sadoru Chiba that is currently serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward (Houbunsha). Released this time are character designs for the anime adaptation that fans have been curious about. Each member of the Campus Life Club is cutely drawn, beginning with main character Yuki Takeya.
School-Live! is a survival horror about a group of girls in the Campus Life Club who are confined to a school campus in a city overrun by zombies, and its characteristic is its cute designs. Fans will likely enjoy the unique world that blends via collaboration Manga Time Kirara and Nitroplus.
The character designs released this time begin with Yuki Takeya and also include club members Kurumi Ibisuzawa, Yuri Wakasa aka “Ri-san,” and MIki Naoki aka Mi-kun, and their advisor, Megumi Sakura aka Megu-ne. Each character is so cute, you wouldn’t think them a part of a zombie series.
The cast includes Inori Minase as Yuki Takeya, Ari Ozawa as Kurumi Ebisazawa, MAO as Yuri Wakasa, and Rie Takahashi as Miki Naoki. Though the voice actress of Megumi Sakura has yet to be announced, the information this time is not to be missed.
The latest information on the series has also been published in the June issue of Manga Time Kirara Forward on sale now.
Directing is Masaomi Ando of White Album 2, the series composer is original creator Norimitsu Kaiho, and the script is being produced by Nitroplus. Haruko Iizuka from the Tamayura and Little Busters! series is the character designer, and the animation is being produced by Lerche, the same company behind Danganronpa: The Animation and Assassination Classroom.
