[Video] That Legendary Series is Returning to Anime?!

The manga UFO Robot Grendizer by Go Nagai began serialization in 1975. Forty years later, a re-edit of this masterpiece by the author himself titled Grendizer Giga currently has a popular serialization in Champion Red. Finally, the first tankobon volume will be released by Champion Red Comics on April 20! A promotional video has also been released in celebration of the tankobon release. The manga UFO Robot Grendizer by Go Nagai began serialization in 1975. That same year it was made into an anime, which boasted great popularity and average domestic ratings of 20% in Japan. It’s popularity then spread to Italy, France, and the Middle East. It was especially popular in Italy and France, where the show recorded rating highs of 80% and 100%, respectively. This hugely popular series has now been re-edited by the author himself as Grendizer Giga.

Story Introduction
Prince Ruke Fleed was driven off the planet Fleed after an attack by the army of Vega, and now that army has set their sights on Earth. Now, after having lost his homeworld, Ruke decides to use the power of the last remaining weapon from Fleed, Grendizer Giga, to protect Earth. With super android Maria by his side, Ruke takes up the challenge as the army of Vega sends wave after wave of formidable enemies. Does Ruke have what it takes to save the world?!
