Ranking of Manga that Readers Want to See Animated: Number 3 is ‘Yotsuba&!’; Number 2 is ‘One Punch-Man’; and Number 1 is… 0

From Feb. 3-8, a survey was carried out by Anime!Anime! asking readers “What manga would you like to see turned into an anime?” Titles were collected on Twitter based on popularity and the opinions of the Anime!Anime! editorial department. There was a final lineup of around 20 titles, divided into “concluded titles” and “yet-to-be concluded titles.”

Each person who took the survey could select up to three titles, and 1,800 people took part. Thank you very much to all those who took part in the survey.

Now we will reveal the top 10 ranking of yet-to-be concluded manga titles.

■ No. 1: Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto (With 25% of the total vote)

In the number one spot of yet-to-be concluded manga that readers would like to see adapted into an animated series is Nami Sano’s Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto.

Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto, serialized in Harta magazine, came second place in the men’s category of the “Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2014” ranking. Highly acclaimed, the series has also been awarded other prizes for manga, with three volumes having been published to date. In this poll, the series won over 25% of the total vote.

In second place comes One Punch-Man, serialized on Tonari no Young Jump. The manga was originally published on the website of One, creator of Mob Psycho 100. The artwork was handled by Yusuke Murata, illustrator of Eyeshield 21.

Third is Yotsuba&! by Kiyohiko Azuma. On his personal blog, Azuma has revealed that he has no intention of adapting the manga into an anime, however there appear to be many who wish to see it adapted.

At number four is March Comes in Like a Lion by Chica Umino. Following on from Honey and Clover, an anime adaption is highly anticipated.

In fifth place is Kouta Hirano’s Drifters. His series Hellsing has also been made into an anime.

In sixth and seventh place are two consecutive shojo manga: Nijiiro Days and Oresama Teacher. The latter is a creation of Izumi Tsubaki, whose work Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun has been adapted into an anime series.

At number eight is the series with the highest number of published volumes (14), Yandere Kanojo. In at number nine is Amaama to Inazuma, ranked eighth place in the men’s category of “Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2014.” And finally, in 10th place, is Soul Catcher(S), currently serialized in Shonen Jump Next!!
