A mysterious site has launched and on it a countdown has begun. The site’s address is http://garakowa.jp/ , and it’s a teaser site with nothing but a single illustration. The visual on the site is impressive and shows a world overflowing with white, from white clouds to even a starry sky. On top of this is a countdown timer that changes every second and the phrase “The restoration of the world...will begin.”
This, along with the site’s address, “garakowa,” offers no clues except for the words used, and the site is one anime fans won’t be able to take their eyes off of.
Check the source code of the site and you’ll find the text “new anime project.” Also buried in the code is the text “keywords=C, anime, destroy, world.” It appears that http://garakowa.jp/ is a site for a new anime.
While that can be said, there are currently still a lot of unknowns including whether this new anime project will be a TV anime, a film, or an OVA, who the staff and cast are, who’s in charge of production, and who launched the site.
This will all be revealed when the countdown reaches zero, which will happen at 18:00 on Feb. 6 (JST). It seems the project will be shown at that time. This was also gleaned from the source code of the site from a separate code stating “description content=when countdown reaches 0, the world will know the truth.” This is clearly the first message from the producers of this project.
