A TV anime has been greenlit for the popular novel Over Lord published by Kadokawa’s Enterbrain brand company. Along with the announcement, the main cast was also announced. Also revealed are details on a stage event to be held at AnimeJapan 2015.
The cast for the TV anime are the same names from the drama CDs included in the special editions of the novel. A wonderful lineup has been gathered that includes Satoshi Hino as Momonga, Yumi Hara as Albedo, Emiri Kato as Aura, Yumi Uchiyama as Mare Bello Fiore, Sumire Uesaka as Shaltear Bloodfallen, and others. It seems their performances will be a highlight of the anime as well.
The stage event at AnimeJapan 2015 will be held on the main area of the Green Stage on March 22 (Sun.) at 17:00. The five abovementioned members of the cast will make appearances. A point of interest will be whether the cast will make any announcements. To attend the event, an admission ticket is required that comes with a raffle ticket for the stage event. Details on the tickets are available on the official AnimeJapan 2015 site.
Additional cast members that have been confirmed include Kenta Miyake as Cocytus, Masayuki Kato as Demiurge, Shigeru Chiba as Sebas Tian, and Manami Numakura as Narberal Γ. Keep your eyes open for new developments to come for this dark fantasy set in a strange world.
