On November 28, the "Attack on Titan Exhibit" opened in Ueno, Tokyo. Before the general opening, a special media exhibit was held the day before, on the 27th. The 60-meter-tall Colossal Titan was on display in the event hall, and many celebrities in attendance admired it's elaborate detail and professional construction.
To date, the Attack on Titan& manga has sold a total of over 40 million copies and is a massively popular series worldwide. This event features many different ways to experience the world of *Attack on Titan, from an exhibition of original sketches by series creator Hajime Isayama, to a 360 degree 3D theater that lets you become a Survey Corps member and experience what it's like to fly through the air with Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear, to a theater with Head Mounted Displays and 3D visuals that allows you to experience the series in a whole new way. And let's not forget the 1/1 scale Colossal Titan!
The exhibition hall also features a corner called "Concept Art World IV: Mysteries to Come," which has original sketches of brand new characters that have yet to make an appearance in the manga series (open for viewing beginning November 28).
