First “Jisho Moe-Chara Gakkai” to Be Held in Shibuya! Strong Lineup of Well-Known Characters Includes Kitano Kamui, Imaichi Moenai Musume and Others!

The first “Jisho Moe-Chara Gakkai (Summit for Self-Styled Moe Chara)” that gathers wannabe moe characters from throughout Japan is going to be held on Nov. 24 in Shibuya, Tokyo.

The programs of this conference are planned to include know-how presentations on character management, character introductions by cosplayers, sharing of event information, and discussions on character management.

Among the participants, you can find many personalities who often stir up the Internet such as Kamui Kitano, the host of a radio program in Hokkaido; Nipako, a humanized nipper (diagonal pliers) character; Matsumoto Izumi, a humanized electric razor; and Tohoku Zunko, the personified zunda-mochi character who cheers on the Tohoku region.

The summit will be held at GMO Yours (11th floor of the Cerulean Tower, 26-1 Sakuragaoka, Shibuya, Tokyo) from 2 to 5 p.m. with a friendly get-together to follow from 5 to 7 p.m. The participation fee to the party is ¥5,000. Furthermore, participation in the party requires registration on the event page of the character summit.
