Yukari Tamura, who is affectionately referred to as “Yukarin” by fans, is hugely popular both as a voice actress and as a singer. It has been announced that her 25th single will release this year on Dec. 24. As we all know, the 24 is Christmas Eve. So the single is in the form of a Christmas present from Tamura. This is surely good news for fans.
The title of the single is currently unknown, but it has been revealed that a first-press limited edition (CD + DVD) and regular edition (CD only) will release. The first-press limited edition DVD includes a music video and comes in a special package. It will be interesting to see what the music and video will be like. The limited edition and regular edition will also have a first-press bonus in common: a premium advance lottery number for a special Yukari Tamura event to be held next year on Feb. 14 and 15.
The special event is a big one that takes place for two days at the Nippon Budokan. Because the event will take place on the 14 and 15, it seems as though it’s a Valentine’s Day present. Details are forthcoming and will be announced on Yukari Tamura’s official site. The information will likely be something fans can’t miss.
Yukari Tamura isn’t just active as an artist. She is playing Hilda in Cross Ange: Rondo of Angels and Dragons, Koruri Tokitani in Girl Friend Beta, and Kaoru in I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying during the 2014 fall season. Among her work, her narration in Gugure! Kokkuri-san is one to take note of. She is also playing Mine in the currently airing Akame ga Kill!
