Director of TV Anime God Eater is Takayuki Hirao of The Garden of Sinners: Paradox Spiral

New news has been revealed for the TV anime God Eater which was announced in September at Tokyo Game Show 2014. On Oct. 12, a stage event called “Game and Anime! God Eater New News Stage Event in Bizan” was held at Machi Asobi Vol. 13 held in Tokushima. At the event, series producer Yusuke Tomizawa and chief director Hiro Yoshimura announced the newest information on the game and anime. Directing the anime is Takayuki Hirao, the character designer is Keita Shimizu, and Go Shiina is in charge of the music. It has already been announced that Ufotable is producing the anime, and a work that shows this is expected.

There was also a surprise announcement that was no doubt surprising to many fans. This is because the production staff is also working on the animation portions of the game. Fans can expect the high-quality visuals the company is known for in the TV anime as well.

Director Takayuki Hirao is known for The Garden of Sinners: Paradox Spiral, Sakura Ondo, and Magical Sisters Yoyo and Nene. He has been in charge of Ufotable’s most notable works, and God Eater will be a title heavy with his fighting spirit.

Musician Go Shiina is known for Tales of Legendia in addition to God Eater. He has even worked several times on anime with director Takayuki Hirao. Attention is on what form the anime will take for this hit series with 24.5 million copies sold.

On the other hand, the TV broadcast times, cast, theme song, and artists have not yet been revealed. We’ll have to wait for announcements to come. In other news, it has been announced that “God Eater 2: Rage Burst PS4 First Demo & ‘Super’ Fusion Development Summit” will be held by Niconico Live at the event in Takushima on Oct. 26 at 17:00.
