The TV anime Le Fruit de la Grisaia will begin in October. The anime is based on a popular game developed by Front Wing. Le Fruit de la Grisaia was released in 2011 and was followed up by the sequels Le Labyrinthe de la Grisaia and Le Eden de la Grisaia to become a highly popular series. Now, the anime adaptation long awaited by fans is finally here.
The story begins when main character Yuji Kazami transfers into the Private Mihama Academy. However, there are only five students who attend Private Mihama Academy and each of the students have their own “circumstances.”
At the time of the announcement of the anime adaptation, Tensho was appointed as director, Hideyuki Kurata as series composer, and Akio Watanabe as character designer. Producing the animation is 8-Bit which also produced Walkure Romanze and Tokyo Ravens. The anime will make full use of the world of Le Fruit de la Grisaia, and a portion of the anime has now been revealed. On Sept. 24, a promotional video was released on the official site. The video is roughly a minute in length and fully depicts the six characters’ personalities.
The opening and ending themes to the anime are also worth taking note of. The opening theme is “Rakuen no Tsubasa” by Maon Kurosaki, and the ending theme is “Anata no Aishita Sekai” by Yoshino Nanjo. Also, Elements Garden is creating the music for the anime. The group is well known as hitmakers whose works include theme songs for a variety of anime and games. They are changing up their music for the anime to express its world.
The release schedule for the aforementioned songs has also already been released. “Rakuen no Tsubasa” will release on Oct. 15 and “Anata no Aishita Sekai” on Nov. 5. With these, you’ll be able to fully enjoy the world of Le Fruit de la Grisaia through video and music.
