The popular light novel Jinsei from Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko is becoming an anime to air this July. It has been revealed that the anime will broadcast on Tokyo MX, Yomiuri TV, Chukyu TV, and BS11. A teaser site also opened on May 20, as did the official Twitter account which has begun sharing information. The designs of the cast of characters and the title logo have been released and things are being prepared for the July broadcast.
The light novel Jinsei is a popular work by author Ougyo Kawagishi and illustrator Meruchi Nanase. Contrary to the thought-provoking title, the story is poppy and fun. The story centers around Yuki Akamatsu, a member of the Kyumon Academy Second Newspaper Club, whose strife begins when he is put in charge of the life advice column. Answering concerns from students along with him are three girls: science student Rino Endo, liberal arts student Fumi Kujo, and sports student Ikumi Suzuki. Their opinions always clash, but he decides to try it anyway.
The series is full of highlights. This includes the three beautiful female characters who are very different from each other and who tend to give strange advice back in the column. The series is also loaded with slightly ecchi scenes and scenes showing the girls’ cute moeness. The anime is being created by a team with a reputation for bishoujo anime. It’s a must-see.
Directing the anime is Keiichiro Kawaguchi ( Minami-ke Tadaima, Mayo Chiki ). Other members to put fans’ minds at ease include Naruhisa Arakawa ( Yosuga no Sora, Outbreak Company ) as series composer and Tomoyuki Shitaya ( First Love Limited ) as character designer. Producing the anime is Feel.
The eighth volume of the light novel will release on June 18 before the broadcast begins. Gear up for the broadcast by catching up on the light novel.
