First Full-Blown Tiger & Bunny Exhibition, Special Exhibit: The World of Tiger & Bunny, to Be Held in Four Major Cities

The Tiger & Bunny series began airing in 2011. In 2012, the movie Tiger & Bunny: The Beginning released and became a huge hit. Now, the second movie in the series, Tiger & Bunny: The Rising, is set for a roadshow release on Feb. 8. It is an entirely new work that is hotly anticipated by fans and takes place after the TV series.

Projects linked up with the movie’s release are also following in succession, but none have been revealed that rival the following must-see large project: the first full-blown exhibition of Tiger & Bunny that recounts the series’ entire history. Titled “Special Exhibit: The World of Tiger & Bunny,” the exhibit will start by being held in Osaka on March 22 and then travel to Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Tokyo.

“Special Exhibit: The World of Tiger & Bunny” is an art exhibit that follows the series from creation to the present day. Under the supervision of Sunrise, the exhibit introduces the world of Tiger & Bunny with an unprecedented approach that is safe to say is a compilation of the series. At the event, an enormous amount of content will be on display starting with valuable illustrations and production materials of all kinds. There will also be a 1/1 scale Double Chaser and hero suits, as well as an area to photograph all different kinds of figures. Of course, there will also be an extensive lineup of original goods that are limited to the exhibit. The lineup will be abundant in variety and will include T-shirts, towels, tote bags, small accessories, USB hubs, kawara senbei (a type of confection), tons of stamps, and more. More information on exhibit products and limited goods will be announced on the official site soon.

The exhibit will be held in Osaka from March 22-30 in the Umeda Sky Building. It will then continue to Nagoya from April 5-20 at the Nagoya TV Tower, then on to Fukuoka from May 3-25 at the Nishitestu Hall, and finally Tokyo from June 24 to July 6 at Ikebukuro Sunshine City.

A limited number of advance tickets to the event that come with an attached premium bonus, a charm with a hero’s personal mark, will begin being sold on Feb. 1. These tickets cost ¥2,000, standard admission tickets cost ¥1,000, and tickets at the door cost ¥1,200 (all prices include tax).
