Pre-orders for the “Tiger & Bunny Collaborative Eyewear Designed by Jins” opened on Bandai’s official shopping site Premium Bandai this month. The glasses are themed after the heroes Wild Tiger and Barnaby Brooks Jr.
The glasses are a reproduction of the same series of eyewear that was sold last year. Using the motif of the hero suits, which are an extremely characteristic part of the world of Tiger & Bunny, Jins reproduces their dimensionality and linear beauty. The speciality glasses maker Jins’ simple colors and designs enable everyone to enjoy wearing these glasses, regardless of gender or style. The glasses included as part of this collaboration are the same as those included last time. The four versions of glasses are the “Wild Tiger,” “Barnaby Brooks Jr.,” “Wild Tiger - TopMag,” and “Barnaby Brooks Jr. Prototype Suit.”
In celebration of the glasses being reproduced, Jins created new cleaning cloth designs. The two new designs are of a towel from Kotetsu’s parents’ Kaburagi liquor store and of a stuffed animal bunny that Barnaby received as a present from Kotetsu. Each of the glasses come with the same original glasses case from the last collaboration. All of the glasses will release next month!
