On Jan. 14, DeNA announced that its new game for Mobage called Attack on Titan: Roar to Freedom will be released this winter. Pre-registration for the game also began. Furthermore, a Twitter campaign is currently ongoing and will run until Jan. 30 at 11:59 p.m. Those who pre-register for the game will receive in-game items that will change depending on the number of tweets the campaign page receives.
Roar to Freedom is a simulation game based on Hajime Isayama’s manga Attack on Titan. In the game, players find themselves suddenly banished to the world outside the walls and they must band together with survivors to develop and strengthen their city. Resources are also needed for this, and they can be crafted or procured from other players. The game will also include an original character named Veratter as well as visuals of familiar characters like Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, and Levi. Screenshots showing the game’s atmosphere have been released, so take a look.
At the end of last year, a special site opened on which the story and characters of Roar to Freedom are introduced, summaries and other information is posted, and players can sign up for pre-registration. The site will also be updated soon with even more including promotional videos.
Story
“I now understand… Living outside the walls…”
Banishment outside the walls.
That is the extreme punishment given to the very worst criminals. A place without food, resources, or the walls to protect them. A place where they can only rely on themselves. Take a chance on a survivor and they’ll snatch away your defences… That is the fate of those banished outside the walls. People who have forgotten how to be human, criminals who have become beasts - their screams echo across the land. What will your reality be in this place at the end of despair?

A person who was banished to the world outside the walls. Veratter teachers the player about survivors outside the walls. Information about her past is completely unknown. At times, her hatred toward mankind shows itself.

Outline
Players are suddenly banished to the world outside the walls and must strengthen their town in order to survive. Players can craft necessary resources themselves or acquire them from other players. If players choose the second option, Titans will attack and destroy that players town. Conversely, players will have to develop and strengthen their town so that they don’t meet the same fate.
