Dezaegg, a company that sells game- and anime-related goods, will release collaborative products with the TV anime Beyond the Boundary. The products, which will include clear bookmarks in addition to the company’s flagship smartphone cases called “Deza Jackets,” will release near the end of January 2014.
Deza Jackets to fit iPhone 4/4s and Android smartphones are being prepared. Each one will come in four designs based on the heroine Mirai Kuriyama, Akihito Kanbara, Mitsuki Nase, and Hiroomi Nase. The iPhone 4/4s models will also come with a liquid crystal protective sheet. Other protective sheets and a lineup of free-to-download original wallpapers will also be available. The prices of the cases are ￥3,980 for the iPhone 4/4s models and ￥2,980 for the Android models (Both prices include tax. Shipping not included).
The clear bookmarks will come in two designs: Mirai Kuriyama & Akihito Kanbara and Mitsuki Nase & Hiroomi Nase. The price of each is ￥630 (Price include tax. Shipping not included).
Desaegg will also hold a campaign on their official site syncing up with the release of these products. Starting on Jan. 21, customers will receive one of four SD character mascots for every ￥3,000 spend on goods related to Beyond the Boundary. These will be given out at random, and the campaign will end once supplies run out.
Beyond the Boundary is a TV anime series by popular production studio Kyoto Animation. The anime is based on an original light novel work by Nagomu Torii that won an honorable mention at the 2nd Kyoto Animation Awards. It’s directed by Taichi Ishidate who was an episode director and storyboard artist on Lucky Star and Nichijou. Other staff include Jukki Hanada of Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions fame as series composer and Miku Kadowaki, who has worked as chief animation director on other Kyoto Animation works, as character designer.
