New frames are now available on Otaku Camera, a popular photo app with over 3 million users! This time, we collaborated with the popular anime No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular! (aka WataMote).
WataMote is the amusing, yet slightly painful story of Tomoko Kuroki, a lonely high school otaku girl who isn’t swooned over by boys, but still tries her best to improve her circumstances, albeit awkwardly. The manga exploded in popularity overseas on the imageboard site 4chan, and this popularity was reintroduced to Japan, making the work a hit in the process. The story has gained support from many fans who are sympathetic of Tomoko’s slightly sad way of life as she struggles with being a mojō, an unpopular girl.
Otaku Camera users can transform photos into art that looks as if it is straight from a manga. Together with these new frames, users can take photos with WataMote characters! The frames will be available to download for free until Oct. 2. If you haven’t downloaded them yet, be sure to do so soon! Tomoko is relying on you to take pictures with her!
