DJ Kazu’s newest non-stop dream anison mix CD that will once again heat up the world of anime songs, J-Anison Kamikyoku Matsuri - Paradise, will be released on Oct. 2. The album’s tracklist has also been revealed. The CD will span 48 songs that include those from 2012 anime or later––such as the OP theme to Nisemonogatari - Tsukihi Phoenix, “Purachina Disco” (TV size)––as well as many songs requested by anime song fans. The main jacket of the album was designed by Noizi Ito who is famous for illustrations on the light novel The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. This main visual is also being given out as a special B2-size poster to those who pre-order or purchase the CD at participating stores. Differing by store, additional jackets by other wonderful artists will be given out as well.
J-Anison Kamikyoki Matsuri - Paradise is the third part in DJ Kazu’s J-Anison Kamikyoku Matsuri series, which has sold 130,000 copies since it was released in 2012. Not being confined to labels, this well-supported series assembles popular anime songs into a non-stop mix that acts as an anison primer for both anime fans and those not familiar with the world of anison alike. It seems that with this newest part of the series, which focuses on songs chosen from 2012 or later anime, those who listen will be able to fully understand every nook and cranny of the new anime scene.
Other than Noizi Ito creating the main jacket for this new CD, different stores will be giving out different jackets created exclusively by fantastic artists. A jacket illustrated by Yasu who also illustrated the light novel Toradora! is being given out at Animate and Anibro. A jacket illustrated by Eiji Komatsu whose other works include the front cover of the light novel Golden Time, and one by Puti Devil who designed a Hatsune Miku T-card used in a collaboration with Hatsune Miku and Tsutaya are being given out at Tower Records. At Wonder Goo, a jacket illustrated by Pirō Ikeda who also created the jacket for the CD Momiji wa Ki ni Saku Hana no Youni is being given out.
