The anime Nagi no Asu Kara will begin airing on Oct. 3 on Tokyo MX, BS Animax, Sun Television, KBS Kyoto, and TV Aichi. This anime is an original joint project by Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh (ASCII Media Works) and the anime production studio P.A. Works. The director is Toshiya Shinohara from Red Data Girl, and the series composer is Mari Okada from True Tears. These two are facing the challenge of making this anime along with staff who worked on previous anime by P.A. Works.
New information has been revealed regarding the theme songs. For the opening, a song titled “Lull ~Soshite Bokura wa~” by Ray was chosen, and the ending is going to be “Aquaterrarium” by Nagi Yanagi. These two female singers express their views of the anime’s world through their songs. The release dates of the singles for these theme songs were also decided.
Ray’s fourth single, Lull ~Soshite Bokura wa~, will release on Oct. 30. There will be different bonus DVDs included with the limited edition anime CD and the limited edition CD. Both DVDs are planned to contain the image video of the anime that was first shown at “Dengeki 20th Anniversary Festival.” Viewers can enjoy Ray’s voice on the theme song of the video, “Nagi.” These CDs will cost ¥1,890, while the regular edition CD will cost ¥1,260 (all prices include tax).
Nagi Yanagi’s sixth single, Aquaterrarium, will release on Nov. 20. With the ending composed by Chiaki Ishikawa, who has written and sung many anime songs, and the lyrics written by Nagi Yanagi herself, this is a dream collaboration coming true. The limited edition CD will also come with a bonus DVD featuring the music video of the song “Aquaterrarium.” The limited edition CD will cost ¥1,680, and the regular edition ¥1,260 (all prices include tax).
