Mangapolo, much like the global explorer Marco Polo, is on a mission to go to the "land of manga" to share it's beauty with the Internet users of the world. It's a YouTube channel that features various videos related to manga.

Now Mangapolo is going to feature the beginning of the manga version of Dragon Ball.

Far from the city, deep in the mountains, there lived a young boy. This young boy was not tall, he had an eccentric hairstyle and even a tail growing out of his backside like a monkey. However, despite his appearance, this boy possessed great powers. With one kick, he could smash a timber log into pieces or cut it into firewood. He could catch giant fish with his hands and eat them for dinner. He lived alone in this way, making full use of his small, but incredibly strong body.

One day, a young woman driving a car appears before the boy. She has her hair in braids and wears contemporary clothing that the boy has never seen before. She holds a radar-like device, which she looks at, searching for something. Seeing this, the boy mistakenly assumes she is an enemy out to steal the food he caught. He lashes out violently, picking up and throwing both the woman and her car.

The woman is amazed at the boy's actions and is hurt by his attack. However, she quickly pulls out a pistol and fires back at the boy. The bullets strike him right in the forehead, but only slightly hurt the boy and make him cry. He is still alive. The young woman is amazed at the boy’s strength and his durable body, and decides he is perfect for her purpose. "Come on over to my house," she says to the boy. He agrees and follows along behind her.

This is the meeting of the hero Son Goku, who will come to save the world many times over, and the heroin, Bulma.
