A TV anime adaptation of the popular manga Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova- currently serialized in Young King OURs will begin broadcasting this October.
The original work is a sci-fi military story that takes place in the future on a Japanese submarine. The warships in the anime use a female appearance, or “Mental Model” (a physical incarnation in humanoid form), in order to communicate with mankind. The cast of the warship’s Mental Models have been announced and include Manami Numakura as Takao, Hibiki Yamamura as Haruna, Yumi Uchiyama as Kirishima, and Yukana as Kongō.
This third PV focuses on Takao. The PV features the same enjoyable high-quality music and animation that was seen in the announcement PV and Iona PV. It’s recommended to take a look at all three as well as the fourth now viewable on the anime’s official site.
Furthermore, it’s been announced that Fuchigami (Iona), Numakura (Takana), and Yamamura (Haruna) will form a trio called Trident named after the Poseidon’s three-pronged weapon from Greek mythology. Trident is planned to participate in promotional activities for the anime.
