From Aug. 2-27, the “Namco x A Certain Scientific Railgun S” collaboration is being held at Namco game centers. This PV aroused talk of the campaign amongst Railgun and Namco fans.
The PV begins with Misaka Mikoto’s “Sisters” dancing with the face of Umaemon, the Umaibō character. In the chaotic PV, Shirai Kuroko is also shown with the face of Umaemon and exclaims, “Umaibō!” Fans have reacted to the piece online by saying it is “Surreal,” “Too funny,” and, “This came about slowly.”
The campaign features premium specially created crane game prizes such as tapestries, shower curtains, and collaborative Umaibō. Hiroshi Yakou illustrated the prizes and the background, and the finishing was done by J.C. Staff. Store-specific presents are also underway.
