Sanrio Puroland is a popular amusement park located in Tama, Tokyo that features all of the Sanrio characters including Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Pompompurin. On July 20, Sanrio Town opened in Sanrio Puroland full of new attractions including those that enable visitors to experience the everyday life of Hello Kitty and My Melody. One such attraction is the “Lady Kitty House” where Hello Kitty lives.
“Lady Kitty House” is a house given to Rose White, Helly Kitty’s grandma who has always been there, as a prize from a queen that developed from a mysterious rose. The house is very kawaii and features many fun gimmicks that can be largely remodeled by visitors.
This house is overflowing with a regal marvelousness fitting as a present from a queen. Many kawaii features are scattered about the house, such as plushies, sweets, and even a Japanese-style tea room.

At the last part of the house, fans have a chance to take a picture with Hello Kitty wearing a classy dress. Midway through the house, fans can purchase a rose, and if given to Hello Kitty, they will receive a small tiara present out of gratitude.
Those who have a chance to visit Puroland definitely should experience “Lady Kitty House” firsthand. It is extremely cute and a bit stylish having been made from combining Japan’s kawaii culture, European style, and a celebrity touch. A gorgeous home decorated with pastel colored roses, plushies, and sweets awaits you!
