However, the people carrying out the experiments aren’t just going to stand idly by while their work is destroyed by Mikoto. Their target is an esper who can manipulate electricity. Only when she infiltrates the facility shall they eliminate her. – Called upon for such a bizarre request is a certain mercenary group. Not knowing of this, Mikoto sneaks into the Pathology Analysis Research Institute and finds herself encircled in traps. As if she was summoned by Mikoto, the figure of a lone girl appears. Meanwhile, at the last remaining facility, the Neurological Analysis Institute, Nunotaba appears.

Her clones are created and killed in an endless cycle. Mikoto learns the truth of the insane experiments and she proceeds to destroy the research facilities to stop them.
Not content to give up and let Mikoto win, the researchers hire a mercenary group to deal with her. When Mikoto infiltrates the next facility, she is attacked by traps one after the other. A girl from the mercenary group then appears before Mikoto and their battle begins. Although the girl is using all of her power to try and stop Mikoto, she is not an ordinary enemy. Mikoto is forced into a hard battle. The girl’s name is Frenda, a master of explosives, and she has booby trapped the entire facility so that Mikoto will be unable to use her electric attacks.
