Ichiban Kuji is a no-lose character lottery sold by Banpresto mainly in convenience stores throughout Japan. The newest Ichiban Kuji series, “Ichiban Kuji Super Sonico ~More Power!!~,” began earlier this month. Each entry into the lottery costs 600 yen (tax included).
Super Sonico is a 2D character who debuted in 2006 as the mascot girl for game maker Nitroplus’ live event “Nitro Super Sonic.” A famous member of the Nitroplus team is Gen Urobuchi, who wrote the popular anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet. Super Sonico has picked up many fans in recent years and has been active in various forms of media.
In Ichiban Kuji, prizes are arranged from A-G plus a Last One prize. Those who enter this Ichiban Kuji have the chance to win prizes from a full lineup of Super Sonico goods. The lineup includes a gorgeous figure, a cute, deformed figure, a poster, a CD, a plushie, voiced bromide, and more. If you’re a Super Sonico fan, make sure to enter soon!
