Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s mini live event “Invader Invader Live Da-da-da-da,” a celebration of the release of her new single “Invader Invader,” was held on May 15. The event was heavy with her thoughts of wanting to fuse fashion and music and “taking over the world in style!” Her outfit, which she described as being “based on spacey things,” was a dress attached with old clothing! Also, among other things, the length and color of her socks were mismatched. It was clear that Kyary was fixated on every last detail of her outfits.
The assembly hall blacked out and the concert began with “Invader Invader” and the enthusiasm of the gathered fans instantly climaxed! Those who came to the event donned the “Da-da-da-dancer” masks they received, becoming fully like the “Da-da-da-dancers” (the name of Kyary’s backup dancers during “Invader Invader” who each wear a mask with a large “Da” on the front).
Continuing from that, the follow-up song to “Invader Invader,” “Point of View,” was performed for the first time. During the song “Ninjari Bang Bang,” Kyary herself taught the crowd the ninja choreography, making them all become ninjas. Finally, she sang “Tsukema Tsukeru” at the top of her lungs, and the curtain closed on the mini concert with fans screaming for more.
