Life-size cutouts of characters from the sadistic vampire adventure series Diabolik Lovers, an anime adaptation for which has been greenlit, are now on display in Animate Ikebukuro. The characters on display are the six brothers from the Sakamaki family: Ayato, Kanato, Raito, Shu, Reiji, and Subaru. The promotion seems to be making quite an impact, with many people posting on Twitter, “I went to meet the six Sakamaki brothers.”
Diabolik Lovers is the newest work released by Otomate, a company that specializes in games intended for females, and was released on the PSP on Oct. 11, 2012. The game has become a hot topic due to the popular voice cast that includes Hikaru Midorikawa, Yuki Kaji, Daisuke Hirakawa, Kousuke Toriumi, Katsuyuki Konishi, and Takashi Kondo. This year, a fan disc titled Diabolik Lovers: More Blood is planned to release.
