The newest promotional trailer as well as a new deleted scene have been released for the OVA Saiyuki Gaiden Special Volume: Kouge no Sho, which went on sale on April 26. Both videos are available on the anime’s official set and on Animate TV. For those on the fence about whether or not to buy this OVA, check out these videos.
Kouge no Sho is a special volume of the three-part series Saiyuki Gaiden, which is based on the popular manga Saiyuki. Kazuya Minekura has been working on the series since 1997. For this special volume, Minekura organized the plot himself and developed an original story for the second half.
The OVA is being sold for a limited time on Animate, Minekura Shop.Net, and Ichijinsha Online Shop. Six huge bonuses have also been prepared for those who buy the OVA, including an original soundtrack. Each shop also has separate bonus items - Animate is giving out a B2 announcement poster featuring a jacket illustration drawn by Minekura, Minekura Shop.Net is gving out a reproduced illustration signed by Minekura, and Ichijinsha Online Shop is giving out a reproduced colored drawing signed by Minekura.
