On January 6, 2012, Square Enix and DeNA released a social game on Mobage called Final Fantasy Brigade. On March 31 of this year, a new update for the game, called Final Fantasy Brigade: Break the Seal, was released.
Three new features have been added to this updated version: a Moogle bar, world map, and upgraded acquisition of rare items. The Moogle bar is an area where new missions can be accepted. The world map includes a function to mark points of destination, and the map expands as missions are cleared. The rare item drop system in which players can acquire rare items by defeating enemies has also been updated so that high-level enemies have a greater chance of dropping rare them. These new additions make the game even more enjoyable.
Final Fantasy Brigade is the first social game in the Final Fantasy series and has surpassed 3 million registered users. The updated version of the game will no doubt make it even more popular.
