Laying on the Ignora ocean is a cross-shaped continent called Ente Isla.
In order to build a kingdom for the creatures that exist in darkness, four generals of the demon world - Adramelech, Lucifer, Alsiel, and Malacoda - accompanied by the demon king Satan invade the human world. However, a lone hero wielding a sacred blade appears.
Being driven back by the hero, the demon king vows to return before leaping through a gateway to another world along with Alsiel. When they come to, they find themselves in human form in the center of Shinjuku.

This work has become quite talked about in Japan recently. Just by looking at the title, you may think it’s a pretty normal work. However, the setting is unlike anything before and it quickly captivates you.
For example, the first half shows an interesting contrast between the world of humans and that of an extremely dark fantasy. Unexpectedly, the demon king Satan Jacob and his close aide Alsiel come to the human world. Satan, who stands at the top of all demons, along with his right hand man, begin living in the human world as working class citizens. This speedy about-face invites viewers to laugh. In the first half of the episode, Satan and Alsiel begin working to gain information about the human world. However, Satan end up working a part-time job at a fast food restaurant! Satan begins mindlessly doing his job and forgets his original goal, which let’s the audience see his sweeter side. On the other hand, Alsiel, begins living his daily life doing housework and going back and forth to the library as if he is a housewife! Their everyday lives are just like that of Japanese people and are filled with warmth.
This curious story, which will continue with them meeting new characters in the human world, has a clever tempo that will expand as the show progresses. We hope it rapidly pushes forward with the same mood as this episode! This anime is bound to gain even more attention.
