Long-awaited by fans, the first of four Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny HD remake Blu-ray boxes will release on June 21.
Also, an enticing bonus has been announced for those who purchase the limited first edition. A new drama CD specially created by Chiaki Morosawa will be included. Morosawa was the screenwriter for Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. The CD is titled “Omake Quarters” and is 15 minutes long. Characters from several SEED series are featured on this bonus CD.
Volume 1 of The Melancholy of Yzak is also included in the first box. Dearly missed by fans, Yzak Joule, Kira Yamato, and Ezalia Joule will be appearing. Tomokazu Seki, Soichiro Hoshi, and Kotono Mitsuishi will be performing the dialogue.
The second and third boxes will release on Sept. 25 and Dec. 25, respectively. The fourth box will release on March 26, 2014. If you’re a SEED fan, make sure to get each limited first edition. They will each include a drama CD!
